This Privacy Policy explains how InsightIQ (“we”, “us”) handles your information when you use the Keelson mobile application (the “App”). Keelson is a men’s pelvic-floor training tool, and it was built to work entirely on your device. We do not run a server for the App, and we do not collect, transmit, or sell your personal data. Nothing about your health ever leaves your device. The only data that does is anonymous usage statistics, described in section 6.

If you have any question about this policy, contact us at contact@insightiq.dev.

1. Who we are

The data controller for the Keelson App is InsightIQ. Contact: contact@insightiq.dev.

2. The short version

Keelson has no account and no backend. Everything you create (your goal and intake answers, the pathway you were guided to, your session history and results, the hold values and session-quality you report, your safety check-ins including any pain you note, reminders and settings) is stored locally on your device using Apple’s on-device storage. None of it is sent to us or to any third party. Deleting the App removes this data from your device.

We do measure anonymous usage statistics to understand which parts of the App are used and where it can be improved. They are deliberately built so that nothing health-related can be inferred from them (see section 6).

Keelson records information you enter about your own body and practice, for example a note that you felt pain during a safety check-in, or how long you could hold a contraction. This information can be sensitive. It is used only on your device to guide your practice, keep your progress, and build your progress report. It is never transmitted to us and never leaves your device unless you choose to share your report.

  • We do not use Apple Health (HealthKit). Keelson does not read from or write to the Health app.
  • The usage statistics carry none of it. The anonymous events described in section 6 deliberately exclude your goal, your pathway, your check-in answers, your hold values and your session quality, even indirectly, which is why session identifiers are never sent either.
  • Sharing is your choice. Your progress report (PDF, image, or data file) is generated on your device. It leaves your device only when you actively use the share sheet to send it, for example to your physiotherapist. Where it goes from there is up to you and the app you choose to share through.

4. Device features the App uses (on your device only)

Some features ask for iOS permissions. In every case the data is used on your device to make the feature work and is never transmitted to us:

  • Notifications (optional). If you enable the daily reminder, the App schedules a local notification on your device. No reminder content is sent to us. You can revoke this permission at any time in iOS Settings.

Keelson does not use location, the camera, the microphone, contacts, or your Apple Health data.

5. Purchases

Keelson Pro subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive your subscription status from Apple (via StoreKit) so the App can unlock Pro features on your device. We never receive or store your payment card details.

6. Anonymous usage analytics

To understand how Keelson is used and where to improve it, the App sends anonymous usage signals to TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics provider based in the European Union, acting as our processor.

What is sent. Only product-interaction events, for example that a session was started, completed or left early, that a lesson was opened, that a report was exported, or that the subscription screen was shown, together with an anonymous installation identifier and general technical information such as the device model and iOS version. Where a week number is included, it refers to the position in the programme, which is the same structure for everyone.

What is never sent. Your goal, your intake answers, the pathway the App guided you to, your safety check-in answers and any pain you reported, your hold values and session quality, your session identifiers, and the contents of your progress report. No health information of any kind leaves your device, and the events are designed so that none can be inferred from them. This is a deliberate design constraint, enforced by automated tests in the App’s codebase.

The identifier. TelemetryDeck generates an anonymous identifier that is specific to your installation of Keelson. It is not Apple’s advertising identifier (IDFA), it does not exist in any other app, and it cannot be linked back to your identity. We make no attempt to re-associate it with a real person or to combine it with any other dataset.

No tracking, no advertising. These statistics are never used for advertising, never shared with data brokers, and never combined with data from other companies. This is why Keelson does not display Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt: there is nothing to track.

For more information, see the TelemetryDeck Privacy Policy.

7. Data we do not collect

We do not collect personal data, do not use advertising SDKs, do not track you across apps or websites, and do not build user profiles. Because the App has no backend, we have no copy of your data.

8. Sharing

We do not share your health data, because it never leaves your device. Two third parties are involved in operating the App: Apple, which processes your subscription purchases under Apple’s Privacy Policy, and TelemetryDeck, which processes the anonymous usage statistics described in section 6.

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) in understanding how the App is used in order to maintain and improve it. This basis is appropriate because the statistics are anonymous, minimal, contain no health data, and cannot be used to identify or single out an individual. If you have any concern about this, contact us at contact@insightiq.dev.

10. Data retention and your rights

Your data lives on your device under your control. You can delete individual sessions and check-ins within the App, or remove everything by deleting the App. Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, export, or delete on our side. If you have any question about your rights under the GDPR or other applicable law, or wish to contact a supervisory authority (in France, the CNIL), email contact@insightiq.dev.

11. Children

Keelson is an adult men’s-health tool. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone. As noted above, the App collects no personal data.

12. Health and safety notice

Keelson is a training and wellbeing tool, not a medical device, and it does not provide a diagnosis or medical advice. Its intake and check-ins are for orientation only. If you have pain or any warning sign, or you are recovering from surgery, consult a qualified professional, and use the App at your own risk.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide notice within the App.
